USA $2 bill
1862 -
In the 1930s the $2 bill gained a bad reputation as it was often used for political bribes. $2 also happened to be the price for a prostitute at the time, and gamblers considered the $2 unlucky. The unpopular bill also annoyed store cashiers as there was no place for them in the cash tray. Ultimately, people just didn't see the point of the $2 bill as it was too close in value to the $1. The unusual bill is still a circulated currency and many assume it is rare and worth more as a collector's item. But no, it’s only worth $2.
